The BskySaver bookmarklet is a small browser shortcut that lets you download Bluesky videos without copying and pasting links. It works on any modern desktop browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. To set it up, drag and drop the button below onto your browser's bookmarks bar.
When you are viewing a Bluesky post you want to save, click the BskySaver Download bookmark in your bookmarks bar. A new tab opens with the download page already loaded for that post. Click Download and you are done.
If your bookmarks bar is hidden, you can show it with Ctrl + Shift + B on Windows or Cmd + Shift + B on Mac.
The bookmarklet works on most desktop browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave, and Opera. On mobile browsers, bookmarklet support is hit or miss. If you are on your phone, just open bskysaver.com in the browser instead, the normal paste and download flow works great there.
